The brisket is good.
Tender and juicy as brisket should be. The sausage is phenomenal.
Great taste with tons of flavor.
I even used some for breakfast sandwiches, and it turned out great. The outlaw potato is my favorite and has tons of brisket, sausage, and cheese on it. The service is always good as the staff is genuinely friendly, so no quarrels there. The place has a decent amount of outside seating, but no tables inside. I would definitely recommend this place and make sure you are ready for a nap afterwards.

Okay so let's be honest.
This place is fire! 🔥🔥🔥 1 brisket is on point.
I love the smoked barbecue chicken.
The brisket is very moist and tender.
And the sausage is really really good.
The barbecue sauce is great, I really enjoy going here from time to time to get some brisket sausage and chicken, the ribs are good too just a solid all-around good barbecue joint.

If you smoke a lot, You know how hard it is to get really good bark on ribs while also maintaining tenderness/integrity and having profuse flavor.
Sometimes you only get two of those items but to get all three and you know you have a perfect rib.
Well this place has their formula down pat for that because their ribs fit all three of those criteria and more.
Honestly one of the better ribs I've had from a place and great smoke flavor.
When people say there's great Texas barbecue they're referencing spots like this.
Just a great barbecue restaurant and the most inconspicuous of spots.
Also had their brisket potato and man that's a meal in itself as well.
Just great flavor on the brisket loaded potato and just a fun Itis time later.
Also very unexpected but they know how to make a dang good Kool-Aid and lemonade, was literally the perfect compliment to our barbecue dishes.
This is a old school mom and pop store that just knows how to do good food especially barbecue.
So looking for a no frills but just good food barbecue spot in the San Antonio area, highly recommend going here.
