Barbacoa El Primo LLC.

I was in a party of five at about 11 am on a Saturday.
This restaurant was extremely busy which is always always a good sign for amazing food.
This restaurant has a very limited menu built around its primary product which is Barbosa.
I ordered a breakfast burrito that included their signature product.
Others in my party who had visited this restaurant previously simply ordered Barbacoa by the pound and that's the proper way to eat at this restaurant.
The Barbacoa at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The torta was a decent size.
The gordita was just one triangle piece, so you would most likely need more depending on how hungry you are.
As far as the meat quality goes you can't go wrong ! Delicious and juicy on matter how you get it.
Highly recommend.

The reviews caught my attention...
a good portion claim this restaurant serves the best Barbacoa in New Mexico (that's a bold statement!) Well, I can honestly say that the reviews did not disappoint.
The staff is incredibly friendly with superb service to match, and the food exceeds all expectations - it's good! Every dish served here has a focus on Barbacoa...
but you'd know that if you look at their menu.
Sure, it may not appear as diverse as other restaurants in the area, but it doesn't need to be when the Barbacoa is that good! The only negative aspect I can think of is that some of the food doesn't come with anything other than the Barbacoa...
you add all the tomato, onions, cilantro, salsa, jalapenos, cabbage, etc.
yourself.
I ordered a Torta and I received meat between two slices of bread...
looked kinda depressing , and I was a little surprised by it, but it's fine since they offer a full salsa bar with all the things you'd normally want to add to your tacos, burrito, torta, and gordita.
