Avesta Shawarma is a fantastic spot for Middle Eastern cuisine in Calgary. I tried the chicken and beef platter and was impressed - while the beef could have used some more juiciness, the chicken was perfectly tender! The hummus was creamy and a delightful addition.

The portions are generous, easily serving two. I also enjoyed their fresh baklava as a sweet ending. It’s a casual atmosphere great for groups, and I appreciated the friendly service! Don’t skip the hot sauce; it adds a flavorful kick... 🍽️
