Very disappointed in the food at Atlantic Grill.Took my family (5) last night (3/17/24) celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday and while the cocktails were great, and the service and ambience was really good the food was a huge and very expensive disappointment! The sushi was very small in size of the rolls and sushi pieces and the seafood Paella ($49) was awful, two very tiny slices of sausage, shrimp, and fish tasteless (we asked for extra shrimp to replace scallops and got 2 shrimps), rice was undercooked and small portion for such a high price. We have always loved Atlantic Grill, was a staple for us when on the UES.We still go there for special occasions but unfortunately, we will not be going back anytime soon.
Nice restaurant close to Lincoln Center.Food was only okay considering the price. Not sure why their bread is so soft, almost like regular multigrain bread slices since the seaweed(?) butter is hard and difficult to spread. Some of our clams and mussels had an unfresh taste to it… the sushi was good.Duck confit salad was fine but the duck was tough and most of the salad was just cranberries. However, the customer service was subpar considering the price and style of the entire restaurant. It took a long time to have anyone attend to us throughout dinner despite seeing many idle waiters.
The BEST fine dining restaurant I have ever had in NewYork!!! I’m not joking, I come from another country, and I have been in NY for 4months, and I went to like 20 restaurants every months.Literally, me and my gf just randomly pick this restaurant and randomly select 3 main courses and some sides, since we are too busy to reserve a restaurant for Thanksgiving eve.IT IS SO SO GOOD, the service is perfect, the rythme of the dishes is perfect. Before I eat, I just think the 4.4 stars restaurant won’t be that great, and now I totally will give a five stars. And I recommend the NY steak and the lobster spaghetti!!!
