I recently had the chance to dine at Arlene's Restaurant, a beloved spot for soul food in Greensboro. Though I'm sad to hear it's permanently closed, I enjoyed my time there!

The service was warm and welcoming, and the portions were impressively generous. 🥘 The mac & cheese was a delight, and I loved the okra as well. The meatloaf was a unique twist - more northern than southern, but still satisfying.

While some flavors missed the mark, like the overly dry cornbread, the friendly atmosphere made it worth the visit. A true hidden gem for comfort food lovers...!
