All That And A Touch of Soul

We have 0 to no soul food restaurants in Joliet.
The food is very good flavorful and a decent price.
Only thing is I recommend calling ahead because the meat is freshly made and it can take a little while.
Experience was great the place was packed.

I feel like this place could be really cool.But they don't listen well when I made my order.They completely missed a side.
The cashier told me.I didn't order a third side which is what I do at every single.So for restaurant , I go to greens macaroni and cheese sweet potatoes.
I also got cold Food Nothing was hot to touch Everything was room temperature warm.
I had a very small serving of Greens and they were very salty But that worked out because I used them To season the smothered pork chops that had absolutely no salt.
The sweet potatoes were Again room temperature warm but they were delicious.
The? Mac and cheese also warm but good Especially mixed with the sweet potatoes.
I wish the Food was hot and consistent.
I also That it was not four people at the counter when I ordered so that the Cashier could focus on my order And not her co workers

Amazing food with a wide selection of options! This was my first time visiting, and the staff was very knowledgeable when I had questions about the meals.
I ordered the fried catfish, which comes with two sides for $14.99.
I chose the mac & cheese and yams, and my entire meal was delicious.
The food arrived quickly, fresh, and the portions were generous! It was so good that I might just have to come back today (not even joking 😂). I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and ordering was a breeze.
The restaurant has a clean, welcoming atmosphere, and I’m so glad we finally have a soul food spot here in Joliet! If you’re looking for good eats with a homestyle vibe, definitely check this place out! It’s a 10/10 for me.
