Alan's of Boscawen Restaurant

Buffet on Sunday was unbelievable price of about $11! Food was hot and varied.
This place is a gem worth making my favorite haunt.
Buffet starts at 8 am and we were the first to show up at 8:05 this morning.
The staff was engage and upbeat.
The food was excellent, the choices were not overly abundant but there is something for everyone.
It's worth checking out, you won't be disappointed!

Food is mediocre.
If you're going to grab some sliders or something fried at the bar, you should be good but as far as a meal it's basic.
They're currently understaffed and the staff they have is overrun and stressed out.
The last sit down I had in there, we had to keep finding the waitress and she ended up crying saying she was the only waitress for the whole restaurant (for her shift). Tonight I ordered a "signature burger" online and when I got home it was a basic burger with only lettuce and tomato.
I drove back down and they were going to "jazz up my burger " to put the toppings I paid for on it: mushrooms, fried onions, bacon and sauce.
I got home to find the bacon was still missing. I'm just so disappointed and have been holding back from a review for a while as I would really love for this place to do well but it continues to go downhill. Flavor of food is bland and the staff is too stressed to recognize their guests and give good, accurate service.
It seems like more of a service to the staff to stay away as they find it hard to handle whoever does go in.

Alan's of Boscawen and their team was incredible! They were a preferred vendor of our wedding venue - and we can see why! Alan's was incredibly easy to work with, had a ton of different menu options to customize things to fit our budget and overall guest experience.
And their food?? Delicious!! They had to practically roll us out of our tasting with them.
Everything was so delicious and we knew we wouldn't have anything to worry about the food being served at our cocktail hour and dinner after that.
We also had a ton of different allergies within our 160 gust count, which Alan's was so good at making sure there were options for everyone and/or substitutes to accommodate.
We couldn't recommend Alan's more!
