Our first time at the store, what a great experience. We were given suggestions on what to purchase based on our conversation, he gave us cooking ideas, what can be frozen and what shouldn't be. He suggested the clam strips for a snack where they cook them for you next door; and while picking up our clam strips we ordered the crab cakes. Out of this world!! If you have never been there, it is a must! It will be a regular stop for us!
This place is tons of fun, and worth the trip from Kent to go get hard to find marine animals to eff with.I got squid, learned how to clean it (the guy ringing me up STRONGLY suggested I look it up and made the best calamari I have always have.Plus now I know how to clean squid.
Great place for fresh fish.Just don't get confused by the two entrances.One is the market, which has a great selection of all types of fish.The other entrance is for hot meals like fish dinners or sandwiches.That side was really good.Had two softshell Crab cooked for me.They were fantastic!
