Abshar Restaurant offers a cozy escape into Afghan flavors. I tried the chapli kabab and was impressed - it came with crunchy fries and warm naan. The tikka stole the show! It was incredibly tender and packed with spices. The atmosphere is casual, which works for a laid-back meal with friends. However, it could definitely use a little decoration and more attentive service; it has a bit of a community center vibe.

Still, I left with a full belly and a smile... 😊
