The Love Kitchen

The Love Kitchen is a charity organization that is serving food made with love for the homeless, located in Knoxville, Tennessee 37915.

The Love Kitchen Inc. was founded and managed by the two twin sisters Ellen Turner & Helen Ashe, with the help of a volunteers staff.

The organization is funded 100% through private donations.

On their first day they cooked 22 meals and today they serve over 22.000 people each week. Ellen’s and Helen’s believe that they should not take the last piece of bread from the table, because somebody may come, and he is hungry.

This place is about the love and dedication to food, for the people who needs it the most.

“It’s really a nice place, just a place where you can come and not only get a hot meal, but sit down and get love, and enjoy yourself and your friends who sitting around, so it’s really neat.

We always need the Love Kitchen food, happiness and love so it’s really a great place.”
